– Les Japon des Avant-Gardes 1910-70 –
This was a multi-cultural exhibition project, which introduced the history of Japanese avant-garde art movements between 1910 and 1970, held in the George Pompidou Centre.
It was made using 3,500sqm of exhibition space within the George Pompidou Centre. The contents of the exhibition included art, architecture, photography, craftwork, industrial design and fashion.
The large-scale exhibition with 700 exhibits was held over three months and played a major role in conveying modern Japanese art and design to the people of Europe.
