Hakone Tozan Train 3000 series
Hakone Tozan Railway presented the completion of Hakone Tozan Train 3000 series designed by Noriaki Okabe Architecture Network to the public on April 14, 2014.
The design concept of the new train is “Integration of tradition and modernity, Harmony with the scene of Hakone”.
The outer panel with deep red named “Vermillion Hakone” which evokes the basic color of previous Hakone Tozan train series, match up with the landscape of the four seasons.
For the interior space, we set the observation spaces having large windows on both side of a car. The passengers can enjoy the splendid view of Hakone.
